Our Team

Kevin Gordon is an AI and computer vision expert with over 7 years of industry experience. After studying computing science at the University of Alberta with a specialization in computer vision, he conducted research in the university's computer vision and robotics lab focusing on real-time video and image analysis of fluids as part of an NSERC collaborative research grant.

As the Co-founder of Velora Labs, Kevin leads the company's strategy and direction, overseeing product development, client engagement, and business operations. Prior to this, he served as VP at NexOptic (2018-2023) where he developed cutting-edge AI software solutions for industry challenges, managed technical customer engagement, and executed AI solutions for various partners.

Kevin brings additional depth through his background as an industrial instrumentation and controls specialist, with more than 10 years of experience in execution, procedure development, and quality assurance. This unique combination of technical expertise and leadership experience positions him at the forefront of AI innovation and application.

Colin D'Amore is a Machine Learning specialist with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta. With 6 years of industry experience, he has developed extensive expertise in optimizing ML models and pipelines, specializing in the integration of AI systems across various hardware platforms.

As Co-founder and Head of Development at Velora Labs, Colin leads all AI/ML operations, bringing a technical depth that drives the company's innovative solutions. His early interest in technology began in high school, where he built websites for small businesses, cultivating both technical skills and business acumen that inform his work today.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Colin combines his technical expertise with a collaborative approach shaped by his background in team sports, having played hockey since the age of 4. This blend of technical knowledge and teamwork makes him instrumental in developing AI solutions that address real-world challenges.

Aidan Earle is a computing science professional with a B.Sc. from Simon Fraser University, specializing in database systems, computer vision, and computer graphics. His technical expertise spans data analysis, system development, and customer integration solutions.

At Velora Labs, Aidan serves as Co-founder with responsibilities in business operations and client engagement, helping organizations successfully implement and leverage AI technologies. His background includes valuable experience at NexOptic (2021-2023), where he developed systems for data analysis and augmentation while providing technical support to customers integrating products into their ecosystems.
